How can a disc dryer achieve continuous drying?

The disc dryer is suitable for use in drying projects with high evaporation intensity. On the basis of the basic configuration, a finned heater is added to introduce small flow of hot air into the dryer, absorb the water vapor that escapes from the material during the drying process, and prevent moisture from condensation on the top of the dryer and the exhaust pipe.

When drying materials, heating medium needs to be introduced into a hollow drying plate. The heating medium is divided into saturated steam, hot water, and thermal oil. The heating medium enters from one end of the drying plate and exits from the other end.

The material that has completed drying falls from the drying tray to the bottom layer of the shell and is transported by the rake blades to the discharge port for discharge. Moisture escapes from the material and is discharged through a moisture discharge port located on the top cover. The moisture in the vacuum disc dryer is extracted by a vacuum pump located on the top cover.

The dry materials discharged from the bottom layer can be directly packaged. By adding auxiliary equipment such as finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, dry material backmixing mechanisms, and induced draft fans, the production capacity of drying can be significantly improved, and paste like and heat sensitive materials can also be dried, providing more convenience for solvent recovery. Pyrolysis and reaction operations can also be carried out.

Materials that can cause environmental pollution and materials that are prone to drift can be dried, such as pesticides, dyes, and intermediates.

On the basis of basic configuration, equipped with bag filter, fin heater, and induced draft fan to capture trace, ultra-fine, and light materials carried in the exhaust gas, protect the environment and reduce product losses.

When drying materials with different properties, there will be significant differences in both the drying time and the drying operation of the dried material in a disc dryer.
